LAN/WAN Integration
A major element of modern
networks is the ability to link into and use the Internet directly
from your desk. By connecting a
DSL, or Cable modem, or even a T1 line to a correctly configured
server it is possible to allow all users on a network to have
individual e-mail addresses and high speed access to the web.
Web access can also be controlled by limiting it to certain machines
or times of the day or by limiting access to undesirable sites
